This course is suitable for intermediate to advanced handgun users. It tackles a wide range of topics, including basic gun safey, marksmanship, handgun operation, the proper defensive mindset, use of force and aftermath of a defensive encounter. This is a 16-hour course.

The course curriculum, live-fire exercises, and demonstration of familiarity, meets or exceeds the established requirements in accordance with California Penal Code Section 26150(a).

Pre-requisites: Any of the following courses:

• Shoot Safe Skill Builder I, II
• Shoot Safe CCW courses
• Essential Pistol / NRA Defensive Pistol
• West Coast Tactical Pistol I, II
• Any intermediate - advanced pistol training deemed comparable
• Instructor's approval
